Climb to Rotang Pass

The roads are very bad till rotang pass, if it rains.


A few kilometers from reaching Rotang pass the roads were filled with slush about knee height. It took great strength to ride the 500cc's through that. And we were stuck there till 5 in the evening because of the traffic block which was there from 2am.

 But unfortunately Ashwin spent all his energy rowing his bike up rotang pass that he didn't get any time to spent with his camera.

Continued to Leh from Pang. Is not tared all the way, More plains its like - silky sand, dusty, and find your own road. It is best if u follow the truck tracks. Though it looks like we are not moving we were actually going really fast the speedometer is not working. At deebring we stopped for a coffee after noon where the dhaba owner had a gypsy and the kid, he is called CHOTTU was navigating the by passers and enjoying seeing the bullets stopping at the dhabas. We got a flat tire.the truck agreed to take it all the way till Leh. which is where we find our next workshop. Waiting for a truck or a mechanic in the middle of nowhere.
